Welcome to the Lakeside PTO website

We hope that you find it a wonderful resource for all your PTO questions, ideas and comments. Our creation of this site reflects our goal and desire to communicate, as quickly and openly as possible, with every family at Lakeside Elementary School. We hope you will visit this site, time and again; to find out about upcoming events, read meeting minutes, learn about upcoming fundraisers as well as volunteer opportunities and to see the great educational support we are providing. Our mission remains the same – “to support the administration, teachers, staff and families at Lakeside Elementary school as they collectively work to create a learning environment that fosters the academic and social development of our children.“

The success our PTO has enjoyed over the years is the direct result of the volunteers who have given so freely of their time and their talents. We hope to be able to continue to build on past successes and to create new partnerships, fundraising events and educational opportunities while always staying true to our mission. Join us in this great work and become the next generation of PTO leaders. Please refer to the volunteer opportunities page to see a list of available positions and roles that suit your interests. You can then contact either one of us or the specific event coordinator to sign up.

The dates of our major events are posted on this website, including all of our monthly meetings. All of our meetings are open to the public and we welcome you to attend any and all of them. The meeting agendas will be posted prior to the meeting so that you can easily find out what will be discussed at the upcoming meeting. They will provide you with a good opportunity to learn about the different programs the Lakeside PTO sponsors as well as a chance to hear from guest speakers and Lakeside administration and staff about topics that directly relate to your family’s experience in school.
